Rahul Gandhi Questions in Loksabha and Answer by HM Amit Shah (full Script )

Rahul Gandhi’s full speech

Hon’ble Speaker Sir,Have you ever thought why Mahatma Gandhi laid so much emphasis on khadi?
Why did he weave the entire freedom struggle around khadi?
And why did he wear only khadi throughout his life?
Because khadi is not just cloth.
Khadi is the expression of the people of India, their imagination, their emotion, their productive strength.
Hon’ble Speaker Sir, go to any corner of the country –
Himachali cap, Assamese gamchha, Banarasi saree, Kanjeevaram saree, Naga jacket…
Every cloth represents the people of that region.
When someone from Assam puts a gamchha around you, he is not just giving you a piece of cloth
he is giving you a piece of his history, tradition, future and imagination.
But Hon’ble Speaker Sir, if you look carefully at these cloths are made of thousands and lakhs of tiny threads that keep embracing each other.
A Kanjeevaram saree has a golden thread, but if there is no green or yellow thread, that golden thread is nothing.
And the most beautiful thing – all threads are equal. No thread is above or below another.
A single thread cannot give you warmth, cannot give you protection,
but when all threads come together, then cloth is formed – it gives warmth, it gives protection, and it also speaks the language of your heart.
Hon’ble Speaker Sir, exactly in the same way our nation is also a cloth.
Not of 14 billion, but of 140 crore people.
And the thread that joins this cloth is – the vote.
From this House to Rajya Sabha, assemblies, panchayats,
HAL, BHEL, ONGC, Chandrayaan, Tejas –
nothing happens if there is no vote.
Hon’ble Speaker Sir, this very thing irritates our RSS friends.
They want to see the cloth, but they cannot tolerate
that in the cloth of this country every thread – every person – is equal.
Whatever be the religion, whatever be the caste, whatever be the language – everyone is equal.
They do not believe in equality. They believe in hierarchy,
and in that hierarchy they want to see themselves right at the top.
On 30 January 1948, Nathuram Godse fired three bullets
and martyred the Father of the Nation.
Today our friends do not embrace Gandhiji.
They push him away. He has become an inconvenient truth for them.
But Hon’ble Speaker Sir, the project did not end here.
After the murder of Gandhiji, the next step was –
to capture each and every institution of India.
Because every institution is born only from the vote.
See the examples:

  1. How vice-chancellors are being appointed in universities – everyone knows.
Not merit, not scientific thinking – only connection with one particular organisation is needed.
  2. Intelligence agencies, CBI, ED, Income Tax –
only those officers sit at the top who are loyal to their ideology,
    who target the opposition.
  3. And the third, most dangerous capture – the Election Commission.

I am not speaking without evidence. There are three questions:

  1. Why was the Chief Justice removed from the committee that selects Election Commissioners?
Don’t we trust the Chief Justice?
  2. Why was the law changed in December 2023 so that no action can be taken against an Election Commissioner?
Till date no Prime Minister has given such an “immunity gift”.
Amit Shah ji is looking at the ceiling – perhaps he will give the answer.
  3. Why can CCTV footage be deleted after 45 days?
Is there a problem of data storage or is it to hide election theft?

What has been the result?

  • Elections stretched to 4–5 months according to the Prime Minister’s schedule.
  • In Haryana, one Brazilian woman’s photo appeared 22 times in the voter list.
  • Same woman’s name more than 200 times at one booth.
  • UP BJP leaders coming to cast votes in Haryana.
  • In Bihar, even after SIR, 1.2 lakh duplicate photos.

The Election Commission has not answered even one question. The reforms we are demanding are very ordinary:

  1. Give all parties machine-readable voter list one month before election.
  2. Withdraw the law that allows deletion of CCTV footage.
  3. Show the complete architecture of EVMs, let our experts look inside.
  4. Remove the law that gives Election Commissioners “do whatever you want” immunity.

And I want to tell the Election Commissioners – you must be thinking this law will save you.
Don’t worry – when we come to power we will change the law retrospectively
and we will find you.
Hon’ble Speaker Sir, the world calls us the biggest democracy.
I say – we are the greatest democracy.
Maximum diversity, maximum languages, maximum states –
there is no other democracy that weaves so many people together.
And the only thread that binds this great democracy – the vote –
these people are destroying it.
There is no bigger anti-national act than stealing votes.
By stealing votes you are tearing the cloth of this country.
You are destroying modern India, destroying the soul of India.
Thank you Hon’ble Speaker Sir for giving me the opportunity to speak on this extremely important subject.
Jai Hind.

Amit Shah’s full speech on 10th december 2025

clean, original Hindi tone kept)Respected Hon’ble Speaker Sir,First of all, I express my gratitude to you for giving me the opportunity to speak on this important subject. In the beginning of the session there was deadlock for two days on this issue; because of that a wrong impression went among the public that we do not want discussion. I want to clarify – Parliament is the biggest panchayat of the country and we from BJP-NDA never run away from discussion. Whatever the issue, we are always ready as per rules. We had earlier said let this discussion happen after two sessions, but when the opposition did not agree we accepted. There were two reasons for saying no. First – they wanted discussion on SIR, that is, Special Intensive Revision. My clear view is that SIR cannot be discussed in Parliament because it is the job of the Election Commission of India. The Election Commission and the Chief Election Commissioner are not under the government. If discussion happened and questions were raised, who would answer? When they said let us discuss electoral reforms, we immediately agreed. For the last four months the opposition has been spreading one-sided lies about SIR. I have done an in-depth study of the entire SIR process, constitutional provisions and history. Today I want to give a reasoned reply in this House and to the country’s public to the lies spread by the Congress. From Article 324 to 329 of the Constitution – establishment of the Election Commission, its powers, preparation of voter list and its revision – everything is clear. These provisions were made when our party did not even exist. The responsibility of free and fair elections and keeping the voter list clean lies with the Election Commission.Article 326 is the most important – the voter must be a citizen of India, above 18 years of age and mentally sound. A foreign citizen cannot become a voter. Can democracy remain safe if infiltrators decide the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers?SIR is not new. First SIR happened in 1952 in Jawaharlal Nehru’s time, second in 1957, third in 1961, then 1965-66 in Lal Bahadur Shastri’s time, 1983-84 and 1987-89 in Rajiv Gandhi’s time, 1992-95 in Narasimha Rao’s time, 2002-03 in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s time. After 2004, in 2025 it is happening under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Will Congress say that Nehru-Indira-Rajiv also stole votes? On 5 November Rahul Gandhi ji dropped a “nuclear bomb” in a press conference – 501 votes from one house in Haryana. The Election Commission clarified that House No. 265 is not a small house; it is a one-acre ancestral property where many families live. It was just an attempt to build a narrative of vote theft. It was said that even after SIR duplicate photos were found in Bihar. The truth is that in 2010 one Election Commissioner (when Congress government was in power) took away the power of the Returning Officer to delete names. Names of dead people were not removed, names were not removed even after transfer. SIR is the process to remove exactly remove these anomalies. We won because on every issue – surgical strike, air strike, Article 370, CAA, triple talaq, Ram Mandir – you were against the people. The Prime Minister gave houses, gas, water, toilets, free ration and free treatment up to five lakh rupees to sixty crore poor people. Do you think we won by stealing votes?Rahul ji had asked three questions:

  • Why was the Chief Justice removed from the selection committee?
For 73 years there was no law at all. The Prime Minister used to appoint directly. In 2023, on the suggestion of the Supreme Court an interim arrangement was made. Then the law was made – Prime Minister, Home Minister and Leader of Opposition. Earlier the Prime Minister had 100%, now he has 33%.
  • Why was immunity given to Election Commissioners?
This immunity already exists since 1950-51 in the Representation of the People Act. We only repeated it.
  • Why is CCTV footage deleted after 45 days?
Section 81 of the Representation of the People Act says an election cannot be challenged after 45 days. CCTV footage is for internal management, not a constitutional document. Still, if anyone files a petition, he can get a stay from the High Court.

I belong to the ideology of RSS. The Prime Minister of this country also belongs to the ideology of RSS. What is wrong in that? The ideology of RSS is – to live and die for the country. Finally I want to say – if you keep opposing SIR, you will be wiped out in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu the way you were wiped out in Bihar. We will not let even one illegal infiltrator cast a vote. Detect, Delete, Deport – this is our policy. The public is God. The decision of the public is the decision of God. Calling it “vote theft” is an insult to democracy.Thank you, Jai Hind.
